Subpump working overtime!

Autumn decided to welcome us with lots of rain!  It started raining last night, rained all night, and is still raining.  We can't take much more rain around here.  Posting a few pictures that I took this morning on my way to town.  They are kind of dark, it was raining pretty good when they were taken.

The two pictures of this field is about three miles from our house.  When I came home the water was coming over the side road where I had parked to take these pictures.

Field about 1/4 mile from us.

Neighbors yard right across the street.
Yesterday I planted my strawberries that have been waiting in the crisper drawer.  Not to sure how long they can stay under water and still survive, guess we will find out.

Hopefully your first day of Autumn is a little dryer than ours.  On the up side it could be cold and rainy,  we have a lovely 68 degrees.

Cheryl,
OH! My that is alot of moisture. Sure hope your strawberries thrive, they will if you can get a few days of sunshine to dry them up a bit. :o)
Our summer was so cool and wet, actually the past summer was also. So much for global warming, I sure would have liked to have seen a few more days above 95F, we only had a handful with only one, that's right one day that hit 100F *sigh*

Praying the rain lets up for a few weeks for you.
Blessings,
Kelle

Hey, just stopped by to check it out - looks like you have been a busy gardener this year. Productive! I hope to be able to do that someday - I'm so different from the girls my age - I just want to live on a farm and do the farm stuff!! Your grandsons are so big now! I'm sure they keep you guys entertained. Tell Mr. Larson I said hi - I sure miss you guys - we had so much at your house by Northland!!!

That's a LOT of rain! I do hope your strawberries survive. Every year either the rain or the raccoons get ours. So far we've never had a good crop of strawberries. We're not as cool as you yet, but I sure am looking forward to it!!
